In today's meeting, we focused on searching for teachers and professors who have expertise that is related to science education. We created a list of experts that we could potentially reach out to and sent emails requesting their feedback on our draft version of our book. In addition, we designed the structure of our reading lecture, in what order and how long it would take, which will be held after receiving permission from the school to use 45 minutes of class time with elementary school students. Our plan includes a period of introducing each other and our project, a read-aloud session, and a brief diagnostic quiz. We developed a quiz set that will be administered both before and after the class to evaluate growth of student learning, as well as to students who will not participate in the lecture for comparison. Moreover, we created a class evaluation form, which will only be given to students who will attend the lecture. Finally, we agree that by the next meeting, each of us will organize their own section of the glossary part of the book and reference sheet.
