About us

Our project focuses on creating an accessible science textbook, especially in chemistry. The book includes clear illustrations to help the target readers not only gain knowledge of science, but also develop an interest in chemistry. In order to evaluate the textbook’s effectiveness, both qualitative and quantitative evaluations will be recorded after the use of the textbook in learning. The records will be then used to modify the textbook once again before its publication.

Hi, I'm Rachel, a junior from Seoul, South Korea. Since high school, I have loved science, especially environmental science and chemistry. I'm an individual with passion to provide joy and education for youth. By experiencing fear of studying certain subjects like science at surface by myself, I had always wanted to help other young students to take bold actions to embrace what seems challenging. Beyond that, I hope every students to discover what they truly love to do at the bottom of their heart.

I'm Hoyun, currently attending Korea International School, Jeju. I am interested in public policy, particularly in the field of education. I think the experience of creating English Children's Book could give the opportunity for everyone to learn something they love in English. I hope to create learning experiences that encourage every student to discover what they truly enjoy and give them the confidence to pursue their interests beyond the classroom.
